D\u00e9veloppement PEK was invited to share its expertise at a sectoral workshop to support the development process. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Several experts from different organizations had the opportunity to share their views on the vision for the renewable energy industry, the evolution of supply sources, grid security and reliability, infrastructure and transportation issues, and innovation.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">D\u00e9veloppement PEK has highlighted the advantages of the community energy model, which allows First Nations and local communities to develop their own energy projects tailored to their environment. These projects contribute to the energy transition while generating benefits that remain within the communities. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This workshop was also an opportunity to present the projects currently under development on which D\u00e9veloppement PEK is collaborating with various local partners, namely <a href=\"https:\/\/matawak.ca\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">\u00c9nergie Matawak<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/onimiki.ca\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">\u00c9nergie Renouvelable Onimiki<\/a> et <a href=\"https:\/\/energiebatiscan.ca\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">\u00c9nergie Communautaire de la Rivi\u00e8re Batiscan<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As part of the adoption of the Loi sur gouvernance responsable des ressources \u00e9nerg\u00e9tiques et modifiant diverses dispositions l\u00e9gislatives [Act respecting responsible energy resource governance and amending various legislative provisions], the Government of Quebec wishes to adopt an integrated energy resource management plan.
