He was aware of the importance of building relationships between Nations so that we could all understand each other a little better.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He left a lasting imprint on his community, on our organizations and on the many people who crossed his path.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On behalf of our entire team, we send our most sincere condolences to his family and loved ones.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Tributes<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In a Radio-Canada article (March 2, 2025), Gilbert Dominique , Chief of the Pekuamiulnuatsh First Nation, emphasized his great knowledge and commitment to the community until the very end. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Minister responsible for Relations with First Nations and Inuit, Ian Lafreni\u00e8re, acknowledged his loss to the community and recalled how much he was appreciated. <\/p>\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-buttons is-layout-flex wp-block-buttons-is-layout-flex\"><\/div>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The entire D\u00e9veloppement PEK team would like to pay tribute to Alain Nepton, who passed away on March 31, 2025 at the age of 78, and to thank him for his invaluable contribution over the years.
