D\u00e9veloppement PEK will continue to put its expertise at the service of client companies. <\/p>\n\n<p>Here is a brief summary of the projects currently being developed in which the community of Mashteuiatsh has agreed to be a partner.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>\u00c9nergie Communautaire de la Rivi\u00e8re Batiscan<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/energiebatiscan.ca\/le-projet\/\">Various analyses<\/a> will be carried out in order to obtain the data necessary to properly evaluate the project to revive the Saint-Narcisse power plant. In particular, an inspection of the intake gallery and an evaluation of the plant&#8217;s equipment will be carried out. <\/p>\n\n<p>The<a href=\"https:\/\/energiebatiscan.ca\/information-et-consultation\/\"> information and consultation process<\/a> will continue with consultations with the First Nations involved in the project, and targeted meetings with local organizations and Hydro-Qu\u00e9bec.<\/p>\n\n<p>In light of the results of the analyses, an informed decision as to whether or not the project will go ahead will be made by the administrators of \u00c9nergie Communautaire de la Rivi\u00e8re Batiscan. It should be submitted to the minist\u00e8re de l\u2019Environnement, de la Lutte contre les changements climatiques, de la Faune et des Parcs in the next few weeks. <\/p>\n\n<p>Subsequently, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ree.environnement.gouv.qc.ca\/projet.asp?no_dossier=3211-12-256\">environmental assessmen<\/a>t will move on to the next stage, involving public participation and environmental analysis. Detailed engineering and discussions on the conclusion of an energy sales contract with Hydro-Qu\u00e9bec are also planned. <\/p>\n\n<p>\u00c9nergie Matawak still plans to start construction towards the end of 2025. Commissioning is anticipated for the end of 2027. <\/p>\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-buttons is-layout-flex wp-block-buttons-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-button\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link wp-element-button\" href=\"https:\/\/matawak.ca\/projet-matawak-que-nous-reserve-lannee-2025\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Click here for details<\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n<p><strong>\u00c9nergie Renouvelable Onimiki<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p>Onimiki Renewable Energy will hold new information and consultation meetings this spring with the population and organizations concerned by the project.<\/p>\n\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/onimiki.ca\/information-et-consultation\/\">information and consultation process<\/a> will thus make it possible to discuss the issues in order to improve the project concept and directly integrate these modifications into the impact study, if necessary. Moreover, the study should be submitted to the minist\u00e8re de l\u2019Environnement, de la Lutte contre les changements climatiques, de la Faune et des Parcs in the fall of 2025. <\/p>\n\n<p>Le d\u00e9veloppement du projet se poursuivra alors que l\u2019\u00e9tape de l\u2019ing\u00e9nierie d\u00e9taill\u00e9e devrait s\u2019amorcer. \u00c9nergie Renouvelable Onimiki s\u2019assurera de maintenir de bonnes relations avec Hydro-Qu\u00e9bec en pr\u00e9vision de discussions \u00e0 tenir pour conclure un contrat de vente d\u2019\u00e9nergie. <\/p>\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-buttons is-layout-flex wp-block-buttons-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-button\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link wp-element-button\" href=\"https:\/\/onimiki.ca\/projet-onimiki-que-nous-reserve-lannee-2025\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Click here for details<\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Not to mention&#8230;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p>D\u00e9veloppement PEK continues to manage and operate the power plants of its client companies. In fact, the Val-Jalbert mini power plant will celebrate the 10<sup>th <\/sup>anniversary of its commissioning in 2025.
